The Fair opens at 10 a.m. and continues until 4:30 p.m. with live entertainment, Kiddie parade, food, games, exhibits, Jr. Idol contest, teen fun area and Market Place craft area. Swimming at the Plunge begins at 11 a.m. for $1.

Admission is freeLively music of various genres will be presented. This is the perfect place to enjoy free entertainment and get to meet some new friends. Guests are encouraged to bring their folding chairs or blankets and get comfortable on the lawn. Bring your own picnic or just show up and you can purchase delicious tri-tip sandwiches, ice cold drinks and snacks that are offered for sale by community partners. All proceeds from concession sales help to support this series.

Bring your blankets and low-back beach chairs to the amphitheater for a family night of fun. Families are welcome to arrive early and bring a picnic dinner, and the kids can play on the nearby playground before the film starts. North Hills Church sponsors a free raffle with fun prizes for kids up to age 12 during the intermission and provides popcorn, candy, sodas, and snacks for sale. Concession sales by North Hills Church are generously donated to the City of Brea to help make this event possible.

Guests are invited to sample delicious food and beverages from over 35 area restaurants, features two large bands, an exhibition in the Gallery including artists’ demonstrations, and the Curtis Theater provides a sneak preview of their upcoming season. “Kidsville” sponsored by North Hills Church includes face painting, a caricature artist, make-and-take crafts, and kid-friendly foods. Home Depot provides a special kids’ craft area. All proceeds from Brea Fest benefit Brea’s art programs such as the Curtis Theatre, City of Brea Gallery, Concerts in the Park, and Family Films in the Park.

This fair offers older adults valuable health services, such as a wide variety of health screening opportunities, information on health, wellness and safety issues. Screenings typically include cholesterol, blood pressure hearing, lung function and metabolism. Additionally, vendors from various agencies that provide service to seniors distribute valuable information. St. Jude Medical Center provides free flu shots to all adults over age 60, while supplies last.
